This policy explains what personal data we collect on CasaSemDegraus.pt, what we use it for, how long we keep it and what rights you have. We write in plain words. If anything is unclear, ask us.

Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is Dynamic Flower Unipessoal LDA., Largo Alberto Sampaio 3A, Sala 10, 2795-007 Linda-a-Velha, Portugal.
Contact for any question about personal data: [email protected].
CasaSemDegraus.pt is an information site about home accessibility. We do not install or sell stair lifts, platforms or lifts. We explain the subject and receive the requests that people send us.
What data we collect
We only collect data when you fill in a form.
- Contact request: name, phone number, district and, if you wish, your town or village.
- About the stairs (optional): the type of stairs (straight, with a curve or landing, outdoors), the type of home (house, apartment building or other) and whether you use a wheelchair (yes or no). If you use the tool “Which solution fits your stairs”, we also record that you used it. We ask nothing else about your health.
- Anti-robot check: the forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to confirm that a person is sending them. Cloudflare may process the IP address and browser data for this check, and we do not use them for any other purpose.
- Technical data of the request: the page where you filled in the form and the type of browser. The IP address is not stored; we keep only an irreversible fingerprint of it, used to stop abuse and automated requests.
We do not ask for or store payment data.
The answer about the wheelchair
Knowing whether a person uses a wheelchair can be treated as health data (article 9 of the GDPR). So: the question is optional; we only process the answer with your explicit consent, given by ticking the box in the form; and we use it only to give you more accurate guidance and to describe the request. You can leave it blank and the request goes through anyway.
What we use the data for and on what basis
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Read the request, pass it to a company in your area and allow it to contact you by phone about the stairs in your home | Your consent (article 6(1)(a) GDPR), given by ticking the box in the form; for the answer about the wheelchair, explicit consent (article 9(2)(a)) |
| Reply to messages sent through the contact form | Pre-contractual steps and legitimate interest (points (b) and (f)) |
| Protect the site against abuse and automated requests | Legitimate interest (point (f)) |
We do not use your data for automated decisions or profiling.
Who we share the data with
With your permission (the box in the form), we pass the request to a specialist in your area: a company that installs or sells stair lifts, platforms or lifts and works in your district. We only pass the request when a company is available, and only to companies in your district. The company receives your name, phone, district or town and your answers about the stairs, and it is responsible for its own processing of that data when it contacts you. We never promise that a specific company will call you. If you want to know which company we passed your request to, ask us.
Who else receives data:
- Providers that help us run the site: server hosting, bot protection (Cloudflare) and the email service (Brevo, a company based in the European Union), which process data only on our behalf.
- Telegram: we receive a notice of each new request (name, phone, place and what you said about the stairs) in a private chat on the Telegram messaging service, so that we can reply quickly. Telegram may process this data outside the European Union.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
We do not sell your data to advertisers and we do not use it for advertising.
How long we keep the data
We keep requests for 12 months from the request. After that we delete them or make them anonymous. You can ask for earlier deletion (see below).
Your rights
At any time you can:
- find out what data we hold about you and ask for a copy;
- correct wrong data;
- ask for the data to be deleted;
- ask to restrict the processing or object to it;
- receive your data in a commonly used format (portability);
- withdraw your consent. This does not affect processing done before the withdrawal.
To exercise any right, write to [email protected]. We reply within one month at most.
If you think your data was not handled properly, you can complain to the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD): www.cnpd.pt.
Cookies
