Methodology
How we write the guides on CasaSemDegraus.pt: official or dated sources, what we could not confirm and how to ask for a correction.
This page explains how we write CasaSemDegraus.pt and what you can expect from each guide.
Last updated: 3 November 2026.
Only official or dated sources
Each guide starts from sources you can open: the Diário da República, Segurança Social, INR, the Tax Authority, the health services, the town councils, the Civil Code and dated manufacturer data sheets. At the end of each guide, the “Sources” section gives the name, the link and the date we read it.
What we could not confirm
When a rule, a value or a measurement is not confirmed in a source, we do not write it as certain. It goes in the section “What we could not confirm”, with a note on where to ask.
Prices
We only publish a price with the body that published it and the date. We do not invent averages or ranges. If there is no source, we say how to ask for and compare quotes.
Brands
We do not say that a brand is “the best”. When we compare manufacturers, it is with a source and a date, or as a list of questions to ask each company.
Pictures
Computer-made pictures carry the note “Illustration”. They do not show real products, brands or real people, and each page has its own.
Contact requests
The requests you send through the form are read by us and passed to companies in your district, only with your permission. See the Privacy policy.
How to ask for a correction
If you find an error or an outdated source, write to [email protected] with the link to the page. We correct it and update the date.
