What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a site stores on your device. They serve, for example, to let the site remember you between visits or to measure how many people visit it.
What we use on CasaSemDegraus.pt
- Analytics cookies: when analytics is on, we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited) to understand which pages are visited and whether the forms work. Cookies such as
_gaand_ga_*are stored, for up to 2 years. The IP address is anonymised and we do not turn on Google’s advertising features. - Advertising or social network cookies: we do not use them.
- We store your choice (accept or reject) in your browser’s local storage, so we do not ask on every page.
- Fonts: the fonts are served by the site itself. We do not load fonts from external services.
- Restricted area: the administration area, which only our team uses, stores a strictly necessary session cookie to keep the login. It does not affect visitors and does not need consent.
When we ask for your consent
If you are in the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we show a notice and only load Google Analytics if you accept. If you reject or have not yet chosen, the site does not load Google Analytics, does not set analytics cookies and does not send data to Google.
Outside these regions the notice does not appear and visit measurement works with the safeguards above (anonymised IP, no advertising). If we cannot tell where you are visiting from, we treat you as a visitor from the European Union and ask for consent. The country is determined from the IP address at the time of the request, and that address is not stored.
How to change your mind
In the European Union, use the Cookie preferences link at the bottom of any page. Your earlier choice is deleted and the notice appears again. If you withdraw consent, Google Analytics stops measuring from that moment. You can delete cookies already stored in your browser settings.
How to control cookies in your browser
You can see, block and delete cookies in your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge). More information at AllAboutCookies.org.
